Update

Just a small update for those wondering where I've been.
Constant work getting ready for our new house, and dealing with the fact that our original closing date has already come and gone, and we still don't know when its actually going to happen. Big mess.
My fourteen year old dog passed away, and it was not a nice peaceful death, so that's shaken me up. It's just making everything else harder to deal with.
Just found out that my best friend has stage-3 breast cancer. She's my age (24) with no risk factors or family history. I've been torn down emotionally over it, and am trying to be with and help her while she goes to her appointments and such. Going to see her hopefully today after her appointment, where we'll finally know more details about what's going on with her, and what her treatment plan will be.
So...things aren't going great right now, so I'm not going to be around reliably for another week at least.

GOODNESS.
Ok. Well.
Just sent out a mailing list message. Hopefully there are still some active folks who read it, lol.
Anyway. Finally have internet/cable/etc. but things are still pretty insane. Painting and moving is close to being finished, studio is taking shape, and dogs will be joining me in about a week or so.
Also, my friend just had her surgery...hopefully the only one she will need...so I can calm down in that area. There is at least a small break before her chemo and radiation starts, so I'm trying to take advantage of it.
Just wanted to let you know that I'm not dead/disappeared...but I am pretty exhaustingly busy.
Hopefully will start frequenting here again soon. Fingers crossed.
